International tax and accounting advisory

Coordination of accounting and tax obligations for companies registered in Turkey and Armenia with licensed accountants in each country. Returns are signed and filed by the licensed accountant; Hamta manages communication, translation, follow-up and scheduling.

What is covered

  • Introduction to and coordination with a licensed accountant: a Mali Müşavir in Turkey and a local accountant in Armenia.
  • Tracking the schedule of periodic returns such as VAT, income or corporate tax and withholding.
  • Following up social-security contributions for directors and employees (SGK and Bağ-Kur in Turkey) according to each company's situation.
  • Translating and explaining tax-office correspondence and notices for the company's directors.
  • Preparing the documents banks request for periodic reviews of the corporate account.

How we work

  1. 1

    Company review

Review of the company type, activity, staff and current obligations.

  2. 2

    Accountant and calendar

Appointing a licensed accountant and preparing a calendar of returns and payments.

  3. 3

    Collecting documents

Collecting invoices, bank statements and contracts on schedule.

  4. 4

    Booking and filing

Booking by the licensed accountant, filing of the return and a receipt for the company.

Transparency and limits

  • The company and its directors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the documents and information provided.
  • Returns are signed and filed by a licensed accountant in the relevant country; Hamta does not replace a licensed accountant or an official tax adviser.
  • Tax laws and rates change; every tax decision should be based on current law and the licensed accountant's advice.
  • Accountant fees and social-security costs are quoted separately according to the rates in each country.
